Peter Karner
(Colorado) Using clay as his medium, Peter Karner creates both functional and artistic pieces whose high-fired glazes emphasize their form. His recent body of work represents a transition from his origin in wood-fired pottery. The landscape around his southwest home, calligraphy, textiles and the pottery of the past influence his glaze decoration.
